Zev Schmitz is a director and photographer working between Los Angeles and Sweden. Rooted in fine art photography, his work moves between the carefully constructed and the instinctively observed, with an unmistakable attention to light, atmosphere, and human behavior. Whether scripted or documentary, his films balance a refined visual language with the unpredictable character of real life.
